What inspired you do to what you're doing? WHY are you doing this?
I am driven by the desire to make a difference in the world. I love to see stressed and tense faces transform into relaxed, smiling faces. I love to see the change in people that gets sparked by the practice and teachings of yoga.
What does living a glowing life mean to you?
So here I get a bit philosophical with you. Living a glowing life means: to be honest & truthful with oneself. As soon as we lie to ourselves, or try to be something / someone we are not, we dim our own light. The essence of this process is found on the journey of self-enquiry. The more I know and accept myself, the more I reside in my own truth.
What advice do you have for my readers about living a glowing life?
It takes courage and dedication to look at yourself in the mirror and decide: I want to live a glowing & meaningful life. In a way, it is a magical moment. A moment that will change the direction of your life's journey. A powerful wake up call. A sweet moment of deep knowing. You have the power to decide how you want to live your life. Practicing a bit of yoga might help on this journey of awakening ;)

The quieter you become, the more you can hear.
What would you tell someone who wants more from life, but still has lots of fears standing in the way?
Like I mentioned before: It takes courage to change your life and wake up. This moment cannot be rushed or forced. Fear is ALWAYS standing in the way. This is normal. Practice to be gentle and kind towards yourself... when the time is right, there will be a way, a new way forward.

What does your morning routine look like?
This varies a lot. It depends on the program of the day. If I have time: I like to stay in bed for a while before getting up. I use this extra time to set an intention for the day, breathe consciously and just listen to my thoughts. Sometimes I might try to recall the dreams I had during the night... After that, I go to the bathroom, scrap my tongue, drink a glass of water & turmeric (in winter tea) and take my herbs & Ayurvedic pills. From there the program varies again.. :)
What is your favorite self-care activity you NEVER skip?
ME TIME!!!!! To be honest, sometimes I do skip it - but whenever I do a few hours of Me-Time (could be on my yoga mat, at a spa, in nature walking through the forest or along the lake), I feel a powerful sense of balance and inner peace.
