WELCOME TO THE GLOW CAMP!
We cannot wait to meet you!
PASSPORT / VISA
Depending on your nationality, you may be required to have a visa to enter Indonesia. Swiss Citizens do not need a visa for a stay up to 30 days. It may be required for your passport to be valid until 6 months after your stay, again, depending on your country.
***IMPORTANT: It is YOUR responsibility to be able to legally enter Indonesia!***
Please do some research around typical illnesses and what kind of vaccinations your country recommends for Bali.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Have address & phone number of the place you’re staying the first night saved somewhere, just in case!
I have an email folder called „travels“, where I save photo copies of my passport and credit cards as well as emergency phone numbers for all bank cards, and travel and flight information.
I also have this information stored somewhere on my phone or printed on paper, in case I can’t access the internet or my email when I need it. There’s a great app called TripIt where you can save all your travel bookings as well.
WHAT TO BRING
Make sure you bring your swim suit, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, your journal. If you have a floatie, feel free to bring it along as well! The climate is hot during this time of the year, so definitely not many warm clothes needed! I recommend you bring a light jacket just in case. Should you use any medication, I recommend you bring it with you, as well as any travel medication just in case would be helpful. Indonesia is not always as clean as the western world, which might upset your stomach, so something against diarrhea is recommended (e.g. charcoal). Depending on where you're from, you may need a travel adapter to charge your devices, such as phone or computer.
We're staying at a private villa in Canggu. We have a private pool, a team of staff to take care of us. The address will be provided at a later time.

Glow Travel Tips
Drink a lot of water during your flights. You can ask the crew for a slice of lemon in your water, this helps hydrate your body and balances any physical stress.
Bring your travel pillow. It will make your flight and rest so much more enjoyable!
Bring a cleanser and moisturizer. The air in the plane is so dry and your skin will not like it too much. Remove your makeup before you go to sleep and apply moisturizer several times during your flight to keep your skin hydrated.
Bring a sleep mask and flight socks. These two little gadgets will make your flight much more enjoyable.
Download a few audio books on Audible or iBooks, download some music from Apple Music or Spotify and bring some good headphones with you. Or listen to The Glow Life Podcast on iTunes :)
Your lavender oil will save you from any stressful moments or people and will keep you relaxed during turbulences.
Things To Do In Bali
Bali is the most popular island of Indonesia. People are extremely mindful and friendly, and tourism is their biggest source of income. Balinese food is delicious and fresh with lots of vegetables and sometimes with a bit of chilli :)
"Thank you" in Balinese is "Terima Kasih". The majority of Balinese people are Hindu-Dharma, which is the Balinese form of Hinduism.
Bali is full of beautiful Hindu temples that you should definitely visit! "Pura" means temple, and the Balinese temples are very unique and special.
Every day, they make beautiful offerings to the Gods with foods and flowers at the entrance of their homes. You will see them in public places as well. Be mindful to never step on these offerings!
WHERE TO STAY
There are plenty of hotels in the Canggu area, where we will be meeting. I can recommend Love Song Boutique Hotel as well as The Slow. You can find them both on booking.com.

BALINESE COOKING CLASS
I recommend that you take a cooking class at Casa Luna in Ubud to learn traditional Balinese cuisine! I took a class there last time and it was amazing!! I'm sure there are other places as well that you can just google.
YOGA IN UBUD
While you can find a yoga studio at every corner in Bali, I really loved the Yoga Barn in Ubud. It's a place where lots of people get their Yoga Teacher certification and they have all kinds of classes from meditation to chanting to all kinds of yoga all day every day.
I also took a yoga class at the Ubud Yoga House, which is in the middle of rice fields and very beautiful!
Check out the Bali Botanica Day Spa and make sure you book a longer treatment that includes a flower bath! The treatment rooms are in the jungle and you will drink a ginger tea in your flower bath tub overlooking the jungle!
