I am beyond excited for you and cannot wait to meet you in person! I don’t even know how to describe how I'm feeling about this experience, all I can say is that I think about it and dream of it every single day! :)

Below, you can find some information about the retreat and how to best prepare for your trip. We will setup a private Facebook group a couple of months before the retreat, so that you can get to meet the other women beforehand.

The Preparation

FLIGHTS: Crete has two different airports. Please make sure that you book your tickets to Heraklion, as the other one will be hours away from the Villa. Once you have booked your flights, please email us your itinerary / arrival time to info@martinafink.com

INSURANCE: It is recommended that you have an international health insurance just in case. I also recommend that you make sure you have a travel insurance in case something unforeseen comes up *touch wood*.

PASSPORT / VISA: You need a valid passport to enter Greece. IMPORTANT: It is your own responsibility to be able to legally enter Greece!

WHERE TO STAY: If you decide to arrive earlier, look for places to stay in the area where the villa is. Feel free to connect with each other in the FB group to accommodate travel plans and adventures together before and/or after the retreat!

DAY 1 MEETING POINT: This will be confirmed at a later point.

MY CONTACT: Should anything urgent happen prior to our retreat or during your trip to Greece, please call me on 0041 79 732 39 91. You can also always reach me on my email info@martinafink.com.

The Camp

OUR VILLA: We're staying at a private villa outside of Heraklion in Crete.

WHAT TO BRING: Make sure you bring your swim suit :), sunscreen, mosquito repellent, your journal. If you have a floatie, feel free to bring it along as well! My pineapple and unicorn will love some company!

The climate is still pretty hot during the day and still a little chilly in the evening. I recommend you bring a light jacket and a sweater for the evenings.

Should you use any medication, I recommend you bring it with you, as well as any travel medication just in case may be helpful.

Depending on where you're from, you may need a travel adapter to charge your devices, such as phone or computer.

ALLERGIES / FOOD PREFERENCES: If you have any food intolerances or allergies, please email me and let me know, so I can let the staff know in advance!

Travel Tips

Have address & phone number of the place you’re staying the first night saved somewhere, just in case!

I have an email folder called „travels“, where I save photo copies of my passport and credit cards as well as emergency phone numbers for all bank cards, and travel and flight information.

I also have this information stored somewhere on my phone or printed on paper, in case I can’t access the internet or my email when I need it.

Drink a lot of water during your flights. You can ask the crew for a slice of lemon in your water, this helps hydrate your body and balances any physical stress.

Bring your travel pillow. It will make your flight and rest so much more enjoyable!

Bring a cleanser and moisturizer. The air in the plane is so dry and your skin will not like it too much. Remove your makeup before you go to sleep and apply moisturizer several times during your flight to keep your skin hydrated.

Bring a sleep mask and flight socks. These two little gadgets will make your flight much more enjoyable.

Download a few audio books on Audible or iBooks, download some music from Apple Music or Spotify and bring some good headphones with you. Or listen to The Glow Life Podcast on iTunes :)

Your lavender oil will save you from any stressful moments or people and will keep you relaxed during turbulences.

The Welcome Call

We will have a Welcome Call with everyone about a month before the retreat. Call details will follow.
