Did you know that Mother Nature is AH-MAZING?!?

She creates foods that vibrates in all colors.

She grows foods seasonally, depending on the nutrients our bodies need at that time of the year.

She makes no mistakes.

She produces in abundance for us.

She not only cares for us, but for all living creatures.

She grows foods that resemble our organs and cells.

You are what you eat: The impact of food on your emotional health

Is the majority of your food vibrant? Green? Red? Yellow? Purple? As in spinach, peppers, carrots, strawberries, and pineapple.

Or is it brown, beige, and white...? As in bread, cake, pasta, sandwiches, and processed snacks?

Be mindful of what you put in your body, because it directly impacts your body, your soul, and your emotions. Think about it: what you eat, goes into your stomach, gets digested and becomes your blood, your cells, and other bodily tissue.

When you eat more colorful, vibrant foods such as fruits and vegetables, you will feel more vibrant. When you eat more brown and colorless stuff that's usually heavily processed, conserved with tons of ingredients you don't even understand, then your body will start to feel that way, too. And how you feel in your body directly impacts how you feel emotionally.

The best foods to reduce stress and overwhelm

When you are stressed and feeling overwhelmed, there's too much energy going on in your mind. Your brain feels like it's about to explode, and you are not grounded in your body in the present moment. What you need now, therefore, is grounding.

The best thing to eat when feeling overwhelmed is root vegetables, since they have a beautiful grounding energy. Root vegetables take the energy from Earth as they grow, they pull up energy through their roots to provide you with their freshness. Typical root vegetables are carrots, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, parsnips, etc. Don't underestimate how powerful your body is - and how you nurture it matters a lot!
