Top Confidence Tips for Fearless Solo Travel in 2024

Confidence is something every woman desires to have more of. And many successful professional women do feel confident already, but mostly in their safe and comfortable environments. What if in 2024, you were able to strengthen your confidence and reach new levels of satisfaction, contentment, and success through attending a self-love retreat on the other side of the world?

The Biggest Mistake Perfectionists Make About Their Future

The Biggest Mistake Perfectionists Make About Their Future

There’s only one real problem that is an actual problem:⁣ You know that something in your life is off and out of alignment, out of integrity, not going the way you desire... AND YOU’RE NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.⁣ Maybe you’re working overtime every day - and it feels exhausting.⁣ Maybe you’re saying hello to strangers on Instagram before you say good morning to your partner (or even to yourself!) - and you feel like a phone addict.⁣

I can’t even begin to describe how good it felt to get away from home and escape for a bit from “work from home life during a pandemic”. Whenever I travel, I like to choose places that are in alignment with my values and my high design standards, and I usually spend quite some time researching until I find a place I really like.⁣

Why You Need to Heal Your Phone Addiction (and Actually LIVE)

I’m sitting at the beach with my candle, reflecting on the relationship with myself while tears are rolling down my cheeks.⁣ While I see most people glued to their phones all day, whether it’s on the sun bed or at the dinner table, I choose to communicate with myself first and foremost.⁣ I’ve been waking up naturally at 7am (I’m wondering how that’s even possible, because I’m a night owl and noooooot a morning person at all?!) to workout, stretch, and do yoga at the beach. ⁣

Are You A Conscious Consumer? [+Event]

Conscious consumerism is a topic I am really passionate about and I love helping people change their habits from mindless to conscious, but first, let’s talk about why this is so important.

When I was a teenager, I went to College in a bigger city by train. Every day after school, we had to wait for our train to take us home and my friend Lisa and I would always checkout my then favorite clothing store.

Traveling With Intention: The ONLY Reason Why I Travel Nowadays

Traveling With Intention: The ONLY Reason Why I Travel Nowadays

Hello from Bonaire in the Caribbean, where I've been for about two weeks now. I want to talk a bit more about travel today, because I noticed people have different reasons why they travel (and no, I don't normally travel with these kinds of dresses and shoes ;)). What are your main reasons why you travel? To escape reality? To recover from all the stress you’re experiencing at work? To experience a new culture? To learn a new language?

I never thought I'd deserve this!

PROOF that you can do, be, and have ANYTHING you want.

2 years and 7 days ago, I had my last day in my job as a Store Manager at Apple Retail. I really enjoyed my job, but realized that I spent ALL my energy and enthusiasm at work, and when I got home after work, I was often so exhausted that I even had to cancel appointments with friends sometimes, because I just couldn't make it to leave the house. My body was constantly running on low...

How to Lower Your Expectations of Others When Traveling

How to Lower Your Expectations of Others When Traveling

I just came back from a wonderful vacation in Zanzibar, Tanzania, nicely tanned, relaxed and super happy! BUT on the first day of my vacation, I didn’t feel like this AT ALL! The biggest culture shock EVER! The boat from Daressalaam to Zanzibar was one of the worst experiences I’d ever had. We drove into the port with a taxi and about five people walked besides the taxi, hoping to carry our luggage for 50m and get tipped for that. We had to FIGHT to not have our bags taken out of our hands!

What Bali Taught Me About Food And Wellbeing

I just came back from two amazing weeks in Bali, where we filmed a social media campaign for Cetaphil, called „The Cetaphil Experience“. It’s a 4 day skin care retreat which educates and empowers women from all over southeast Asia on Skin Confidence. I was the host of the whole experience and lead everyone through fun activities and an interesting program. This is the second time we’re doing this event. Last year, it took place in the Philippines, which was also incredible! (You can watch some videos from last year here!)

Cetaphil Experience 2015

Cetaphil Experience 2015

Last month I participated in a very exciting event with Cetaphil! I was asked to fly over to the Philippines for a 3-day skin care retreat to do some confidence workshops with lots of young Asian women! Cetaphil TH, MY, SG and PH all made a huge Facebook competition where women from all over southeast Asia were able to participate. As of what I heard, there were over 16.000 women participating in this competition! Everyone had to tell Cetaphil what #SkinConfidence meant to them...
